Welcome

(Updated 4 February 2020)

A huge welcome to the second part of the Citizen Science Series that started with a Symposium in November 2019.  In this second part, held on the 1st and 8th of February 2020, we want to work with you to take your ideas of a citizen science project into fruition.  This brief introduction will give you an idea of what we plan to do in this event on the two days' program.

We are very grateful for the generosity of Mr. Paul Corney, one of the co-authors of The KM Cookbook, for offering a signed copy of this valuable book to the citizen science project that goes the furthest through the upcoming activity of the Sudanese Knowledge Society. It is worth noting that Paul has been a friend of our group since 2012 and supportive of our activities. Thanks Paul.

From Left to Right, The KM Cookbook Authors: Paul, Patricia and Chris.

We want to thank Sudan National Museum and The Regional Center for Training and Development of the Civil Society for their support by hosting the two-Saturdays event free of charge.

Please note that the First Saturday (1 February) is held at the Museum on Nile Street and the Second Saturday (8 February) is held at the Center in Amarat Street 53 - see map).

If you are interested and have a citizen science project in mind, please fill the participation form to give us an idea about what you want to do. Before anything, we need you to refresh your mind about what is Citizen Science.
